About

Wispr Flow is a voice-to-text app that turns speech into clean, formatted writing wherever your cursor is. As you talk it removes filler words, handles self-corrections, adds punctuation and adjusts tone per app, and it learns names and jargon through a personal dictionary. Wispr says dictation runs at about 220 words per minute versus roughly 45 for typing, and it supports 100+ languages. In 2026 Wispr added Notetaker, a meeting assistant built into Flow that records on your computer rather than joining calls as a bot. Notetaker uses calendar attendees and your dictionary to label speakers and spell names correctly, re-processes the full recording after the meeting for summaries, decisions and action items, drafts follow-ups, answers questions across past meetings with linked sources, and connects meeting history to Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP-compatible tools. Flow runs on Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android; Notetaker is Mac and Windows only for now.
